Three Quarantined After Showing Symptoms Consistent With Infection

Although there is no reported cases of corona virus in Africa, Kenya has been identified to be among the countries with high volume of travel to china hence rendering it to high risks of the virus infection.

World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that Kenya is among the countries that need re-agents kits to ensure the rapid detention of the deadly virus.

The three quarantined were a Chinese national, a Ugandan man and the third patient, a 22-year-old woman from Likoni sub-county. The three have been isolated and monitored until their state of health is accurately defined by the specialist. Further monitoring of similar cases is being carried out.
