MOI University Unveils its Very Own Computer

Moi University,in collaboration with Jp.ik,release a variety of premium ICT devices. Jp.ik is a Portuguese Information Communication and Technologies company.

The devices are assembled at the university`s technologies Digital Assembly Plant.
The plants location is Rivatex Complex that was newly acquired by the state university.

MU, is the brand name hosting these devices.They consist of desktop computers, laptops, NUCs and servers.Their possible markets is to be higher education students, government and private enterprises.

Principal Secretary of the Ministry of ICT Jerome Ochieng,recognized the university`s innovation.
He urged Kenyans to show support to local ICT.

Jerome encouraged buying locally assembled computers which will definitely build Kenya.He requested County Governments to show support by ordering their ICT devices directly from the assembly plant.

Jp.ik Head of Sales Nick Broda, looks forward to work with local and regional companies that have a wide distribution network of consumer goods.

He highlighted on the ability to customize the devices to the taste of the consumer. This will give them a competitive edge against other brands already in the market.
