Both the ministers declined to take responsibility of the saga.</p>

Led by former chairman for Bungoma county council Julius Bakasa, the councilors who were drawn from various political parties especifically; Ford-kenya, New Ford-kenya, PNU and NARC-kenya said they shared the same ideologies as Mr. Odinga’s and urged the rest of the country to support his bid. The party’s top brass also confirmed that they are ready to work together with any party ahead of the coming poll.</p>

The Permanent Secretary cautioned communities against driving out people from counties on grounds of tribal affiliations moreover calling upon the media to be steadfast in their reporting and avoid causing unnecessary anxiety. He was speaking while officially opening Matungulu District headquarters within Kangundo constituency in Machakos county.</p>
