2011 DOUBLE WORLD CHAMPION VIVIAN CHERUIYOT AND REIGNING WORLD MARATHON CHAMPION EDNAR KIPLAGAT ARE AMONG THE 6 FEMALE ATHLETES WHO HAVE MADE IT FOR THE NATIONAL POLICE CROSS COUNTRY TEAM. STACY NDIWA THOUGH APPEARED TO BE THE TOUGHEST EMERGING FIRST IN THE 8KM RACE. IN THE SENIOR MEN 12 KM RACE GEOFFREY KAMWOROR TOOK THE DAY WITH MATHEW KISORIO ANNOUNCING HIS RETURN TO THE SPORT AFTER BEING BANNED FOR DOPING WITH A SECOND PLACE FINISH.
